Safe and security onboard
Covid-19
We follow the development closely and are updated on information and follow instructions from the Authorities. We are working hard to continously adapt to the current situation. Top priority is the well being of our guests and staff.
Safety
Our RIB boats are CE certified and equipped according to the requirements for fast crafts issued by the Swedish Transport Agency. Both RIBs and guests are insured by Svedea Insurance.
The captains have, of course, all formal permits and certificates. Above that, they all have long time experience from the sea and the archipelago. With long experience comes good judgement when challenging natural forces. The attitude is right.
We warn pregnant and persons with severe back/neck/hip problems to not go by RIB. The aft (back) couch offers a stable and comfortable ride for those with minor bothers. We have no age restriction but to reach the flooring you have to be 140 cm.
Before the trip we do a proper briefing of safety equipment and important things to think about when going by RIB. We do not cancel our events due to weather or wind unless there is an obvious safety risk.
Gear
We offer appropriate gear – warm overalls, 275N life jackets, gloves, warm hat and goggles. Warm days we put on a windproof jacket instead of the overall.
Good to know
We have all the equipment you need for the trip. If possible, wear comfortable shoes. Except rain, you normally do not get wet onboard. Bring gladly your smartphone or camera in the pocket of your gear.
